Hello!
My name is Sarah and I'm a multidisciplinary artist. I primarily work in watercolor and pen, though I also enjoy creating digital art using Procreate and Photoshop.
I grew up painting and drawing and was always drawn to watercolor, especially seeing the extensive body of work my Grandma created in watercolor. Her love of painting continues to inspire me and allows me to connect to her even though she is no longer here. As I've dived more into artwork in past years, I wish I could go back and have more conversations about art with her.
In terms of inspiration, my beloved puppy, Sirius Black is my favorite subject to paint. I've deeply enjoyed painting him over the years and exploring different styles of capturing his personality. It has been a lifelong dream to write and illustrate children's books of his adventures.
Aspiring Architect to Food Blogger to Artist
I went to the University of Florida, graduating in May of 2023 with my bachelor of design in architecture. Over the years my passion for architectural design shifted shifted and though I aspire to design my own home someday, I have taken my love of design into a different direction.
As of the last 2 years, I work full time as a recipe developer and publish to my other website Alternative Dish. I love sharing my passion for food and creating delicious vegan and allergy friendly recipes. Additionally, I am a freelance designer. Some of my recent work involved brand design, product design, and cookbook design.
Beyond my work on paper and online, I am a dancer, figure skater, runner, and yogi. I feel so much joy in movement and just as a I love to create and tell stories through my paintings, I do that with my dance and skating.
